our pricing

We tailor our pricing to best fit YOUR desired level of security and peace of mind, prioritizing the ability of the crew based on each unique combination of vessel, port locations, and time frame so that your vessel arrives safely and on time

Base Pricing

Basic pricing for all necessary Vessel and maritime functions.

*All listed prices are subject to possible change at any moment due to international economic fluctuation, but contractual prices are fixed upon signing, and only subject to the terms of contract as outlined within contract and included itinerary documents.

**Domestic Vessel transport and Captain services within the continental United States will typically not be affected by fluctuations.

Captain and Crew (Daily Rates)

-Licensed Captain: $500 - $1,200 daily rate (depending on YOUR preferred captain, when available)

-Crew and/or Mate: $250 - $450 (captain's preferred crew tailored for each specific vessel, limited negotiable)

-Engineer: $350 - $550 (if deemed necessary for vessel operation by captain, OR if you prefer to add to contract for any reason)

Other necessary Expenses

-Per Diem – $50 – $150 per each individual under contract per day, depending on locations during contract, food is typically the majority of Per Diem costs (hard requirement as per international maritime law for basic necessities and expenses, not including travel which is separate, and must be paid in full up-front, non-negotiable)

-Travel - $ Negotiable (all travel, both to and from the Vessel, and all necessary travel during the course of the contract, must be paid up-front upon signing of contract)

Common Expenses

(Expenses that may, but not necessarily, occur during the course of the contract)

-Dockage or Mooring: $ Depending on length of vessel, location, and price that marina charges, typically by the foot (if and when necessary)

-Fuel: $ Depending on current prices and location, subject to daily fluctuation (fuel allotment typically calculated and included in contract) *Fuel is a necessity for all Vessels outfitted with internal combustion engines, however not all sailing Vessels are outfitted with internal combustion engines or require fuel

-Repairs - Parts and/or Labor: $ Depending on location, source, and cost of labor and/or parts, when beyond the current capabilities of Engineer (when under contract) depending on severity and parts damaged

-Marina and/or hotel: $100 - $500 typically per night on average, but could be more or less depending on location and time of year (Captain and Crew will stay aboard Vessel overnight by default, but may require room and board during an emergency or when the situation makes staying aboard the Vessel unsafe or not possible due to repairs, damage, etc...)

-Replacement gear, equipment, lubricants, etc... for the Vessel: $ Depending on source, location, and cost of labor (if necessary)

-Necessities beyond allotted Per Diem: $1 - $ depending on necessity, location, source and time of year. (Typically Per Diem covers all necessities, however emergency situations beyond predetermined amounts have arisen in the past and cannot always be accurately predicted ahead of time, for example Vessel breaking down in a foreign port and requiring an extended period of time for repairs)

-Weather related expenses: $ depending on gear and/or location (not typically necessary except for operation during extreme weather)

-Communication related expenses: $ depending on gear and/or location (all Captains and Crew members are issued cell phones and hand-held VHF radios for communication, however certain locations and situations may require emergency communications which may cost beyond Per Diem allotment

Extra Services

Services offered that are not typically part of the average contract

-Expedited [Fast] Transport: Daily rate increase and no less than 2 Captains (1 Captain acting as Mate) and 1 crew under contract for duration of contract (expedited delivery is typically 24/7, instead of normal 12 hour days, as weather and circumstances permit). Also may require extra Crew members for sustained continuous operation *Daily rate will increase, but the overall number of days of delivery will be significantly shortened which will reduce the number of days billed to you. The actual total amount billed is typically around (but not specifically) a 50% – 60% increase over the total amount of a regular non-expedited delivery due to the significantly fewer days of delivery that are billable.

-Charter or Party Captain Services: $2500+: Available only to certain Captains, per their schedule and availability (inquire specifically about service and availability before attempting to book) Captain brings his own crew and mate, and is responsible for their wages. Travel expenses are negotiable.

-General Captain Services and Seasonal Upkeep: $100+ per hour, available only to certain Captains, per their schedule and availability (inquire specifically about service and availability before attempting to book) Captain brings his own crew and mate (when necessary), and is responsible for their wages.

Travel expenses beyond 50 miles of Oriental, NC are negotiable.

-Hurricane and Storm preparedness operations: $2,500+ includes topping off and securing fuel, docking, and all vessel hatches. Testing general equipment, and securing emergency equipment for emergency use. Also general seasonal maintenance and upkeep of vessel (cranking engine, charging batteries, checking fluids and rigging, bilge levels, etc…) Staying with the Vessel throughout the storm is an option only available to certain Captains and Crew.
